MCP Engineering Plastics Limited are PTFE Ball suppliers and PTFE Ball manufacturers.
PTFE Balls are manufactured to be low weight, providing exceptional corrosion resistance and are used into high temperature applications. Mechanical and wear resistance properties are lower than other plastic materials. Good electric insulators, they are auto lubricant.
Commonly PTFE Balls are used for fluid and gas transport ball valves and in medical equipment, food and beverage equipment and water delivery systems.
Key properties of PTFE Ball:
- High service temperature
- Superior chemical resistance
- Insulating properties
- Low permeability to gases and aggressive fluids
- Non-stick
- FDA/WRAS approved
MCP Engineering Plastics Limited are a UK PTFE Ball manufacturer and supplier, with in-house machining and tooling capabilities. We have an extensive range of PTFE Ball products available, in all sizes, ex-stock. We provide custom made shapes and colours with full quality product certification.
We also produce PTFE Balls by isostatic moulding technology which guarantees some distinctive advantages. The PTFE powder is pre-set in special metal and rubber moulds. Using water, pressure is applied to the mould both in axial and radial directions. This material is the best choice for seals in hydraulics and pneumatics.
Key Isotropic PTFE Ball properties:
- More compact chemical structure
- Lower porosity
- Lower internal stress
- Thinner thickness available
MCP Engineering Plastics Limited, based on the Hertfordshire and Essex County border, are an established and experienced PTFE Ball supplier and manufacturer to a range of industries throughout the UK, including the oil & gas sector, chemical industries, and other markets where fluid handling of high temperature, caustic and acidic fluids is required, or where contamination is an issue. We have a wide range of filled materials, in all sizes, ready for despatch, ex-stock.
