PTFE is a low friction, engineering plastic with outstanding chemical, high temp, and weathering resistance. PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) is a soft plastic with unique properties. PTFE is stable at temperatures up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit and it is often used in high temperature environments. PTFE also has excellent electrical insulating properties. So, where we use the term “plastic PTFE”, we can also refer to it simply as PTFE.
Plastic PTFE is available in a variety of formulations including unfilled, glass-filled, bearing, and FDA compliant grades.

The long-term service temperature range of Extruded Virgin Plastic PTFE Sheet is from -200°C to 260°C and has a short-term maximum service temperature of 300°C.
Our skived Plastic PTFE sheets provide excellent precision and cleanliness for a wide range of critical applications, including vessel linings, gaskets, rings, pump interiors, dip tubes, washers, seals, spacers and chemical tanks. This is because Plastic PTFE sheets are chemically inert, melt at high temperatures, and are resistant to corrosion. Skived Plastic PTFE sheets and films are available in a wide range of material variations and in continuous rolls or can be cut to your desired length. We offer standard or custom widths to reduce wastage and scrap.
