PTFE Gaskets are manufactured from mechanical or virgin PTFE grade sheets, and can be cut and supplied in a wide range of shapes and sizes or can be supplied in custom made shapes and colours.
Commonly PTFE Gaskets are used for fluid and gas transport seals, medical equipment, food and beverage equipment and water delivery systems.

Most PTFE gaskets are skived off of a roll. Some material is moulded but this is generally limited to smaller sizes. PTFE Gaskets can be produced by isostatic moulding technology, which guarantees some distinctive advantages. The PTFE powder is pre-set in special metal and rubber moulds. Using water, pressure is applied to the mould both in axial and radial directions. This material is the best choice for seals in hydraulics and pneumatics.
