PET materials can be applied to a range of applications within many different industry sectors. The mechanical properties of PET make it a good material for gears and some sliding elements. Some grades are also suitable for use in the food industry. Another advantage of its mechanical properties is the ability to produce finished parts with a high surface finish quality.
