Certification Details

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA or USFDA) is a federal agency of the United States Department of Health and Human Services. FDA compliance means that any material that might contact food is inert and safe for human consumption.

Tests

  • Simulant liquid and contact conditions:
    • Distilled water: 2 hours at reflux temperature
    • Ethanol 50 % v/v 2 hours at reflux temperature
    • n-heptane: 2 hours at reflux temperature
    • Ethyl-acetate: 2 hours at reflux temperature
  • Fluoride extractives by Ion Chromatography technique
  • Infrared identification (FT-IR analysis)
