Polypropylene is a more cost effective material that best offers its properties to general markets where the physical properties are not a defining factor. Polypropylene would most commonly be seen in packing boxes and at water treatment plants performing basic tasks. Much like ABS it is a good choice of material for applications where the aesthetics are more desirable than the physical properties, however there can be exceptions to this.
